What are we actually singing about when we recite Maoz Tzur? In this resource, we’ll take a closer look at its lyrics. Maoz Tzur references different eras of  Jewish history during which the Jewish people faced an existential threat. It reminds us of the importance of resilience and strength in the face of external enemies as well as of  the significance of maintaining our faith in what is good.
